Online iBT Group classes are here!!! To those of you who've taken private lessons so far, I thank you from the bottom of my heart .  You have turned my dream of owning a successful business into a reality. However ... I know that many of you are more interested in a comprehensive and intensive class that meets several days a week (much like the iBT TOEFL® classes I taught at the language school in California).  If you are in this group, then I have GOOD NEWS for you!! I have joined with the TEACHER JAMES website (www.teacherjames.com) to offer a comprehensive 4- -week iBT TOEFL® class (here is a link from their site -- just choose the "COURSE" tab:   http://teacherjames.com/studyhall2.php?id=1  -- if the page is displayed in Chinese, look for the "English" button in the upper right hand corner).  This class will be open to anyone, anywhere, through the advanced technology that is already available on the TEACHER JAMES site.  Here are the details: Class times: GOOD NEWS!!!  We have changed the class so that the 40 hours of lectures will be put on the www.teacherjames.com server as pre-recorded lessons.  This means that you can watch them when it is convenient to you, at your own pace and at your own preferred times.  The GOLD students, however, will still receive ongoing written feedback on a week-by-week basis during the four weeks of their classes (since you are watching the lessons at your leisure, it doesn't necessarily have to be a four-week class, either -- you could complete the whole program in as little as two or three weeks or stretch it out to as many as six, seven or eight weeks, depending on your schedule and the date of your test). Duration: Each iBT class meets for two (2) hours each day, five (5) days per week for FOUR weeks.  (Because of the news above, the entire class doesn't have to "meet" at one particular time each day.  You will watch five 2-hour lectures per week, complete the homework assignments in the THOMSON book, and have the opportunity to receive individual feedback from me through the GOLD plan). Class textbook: The Complete Guide to the TOEFL® Test -- iBT Edition by Bruce Rogers (There are several links to purchase this book on my "What you need..." page.)  Since this class will meet for 10 hours per week, we can focus on all iBT skills presented in this very comprehensive book plus vocabulary and grammar. Price structure: We will be offering TWO separate pricing structures -- * The BRONZE, or standard package, will cost $45.00 per week (for 10 hours of instruction). * The GOLD PLAN will cost $68.75 per week and include both the class lessons and written feedback on both your writing and speaking each week (1 essay plus up to 4 audio files).
